Our next production is underway, and we've chosen Andrew Bovell's first play ever, After Dinner. Andrew Bovell is one of the best known playwrights in Australia and has won many literary awards and AWGIE's. Among his plays are The Secret River, When the Rain Stops Falling, Scenes from a Separation, Speaking in Tongues (and its film adaptation, Lantana), and his screenplays include Strictly Ballroom (co-writer), Iris, Edge of Darkness, and A Most Wanted Man. After Dinner is his only comedy.
This will be our President, Samara Gambling’s debut as director.
Performances will be from Friday 28th October to 5th November: Fridays at 8 pm and Saturdays 2 pm and 8 pm at the Arts Centre, 22 Gawler St., Port Noarlunga.
